Millions for investments into the future of PM-International
Rolf Sorg is a Go-Getter. 17 years ago he founded the PM-International AG and turned the initially small family business into a multinational corporation. The company is expanding and continuously growing. Global investments into the infrastructure stretch right through the entire corporate history. Seven years ago, early expansions in central markets across Europe were followed by first steps into Asia, the biggest market volume worldwide. With the opening of the logistic centre in Singapore in October 2008, the market position was strengthened and the location network continuously expanded. Currently, PM-International is present in over 30 countries on five continents with worldwide 75 locations, 24 of them in Germany. The objective for Germany is an expansion to over 80 locations.
To accommodate the increasing corporate and revenue growth and the related increasing logistics and adminstrative functions, additional investments of several millions into the corporate infrastrcture are required. The Speyer-based company is in the middle of implementing the project “Globale Expansion“ for the year 2011. The investments go into building and rebuilding locations and corporate capacities in Germany, Switzerland and Asia.
